Good to know some of the people on here will happily take/steal what others were willing pay for and justify on the basis that they "only" want the music.

didnt mean to imply i was "justifying" it - i really dont care about that. i would be simply accepting what other people are willing to share. i wouldnt ever lose any sleep over it.

if so inclined...one has to ask, what would Jerry do? haha.
Do you think obtaining SB's off of shnflac or bt.etree is stealing? IF so, you are an idiot. In which case,

No, I'm suggesting that downloading the contents of this boxset is stealing. These aren't soundboard recordings that have been traded freely for decades, in which case it's still not legal but has been tolerated for a long time. They are newly mixed and mastered multi-track recordings. Some people have spent a lot of money on them, myself included, and to see people on here be prepared to download for free what others sacrificed a lot of money to get is upsetting and makes me wonder what being a Grateful Dead fan actually entails. I guess this is the famous "sense of entitlement".

I'm sure you think anyone who bought the set is an idiot. You're probably right - people like me who bought the set take the heat off people like you stealing the band's official releases by financing the organisation.
